Attorney;  International Administrator of six countries around the world teaching the Transcendental Meditation (TM) program and advanced programs; Chair of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for Maharishi International University; Former Dean of Faculty, Maharishi International University; Former City Attorney of Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa; Administrator and TM teacher helping 30,000 Armenians recover from traumatic stress from the1989 earthquake.

David Shapiro

David Shapiro: Founding President of Alliance for PTSD Recovery, B.A. cum laude Chemistry, Carleton College; M.A. Philosophy, M.I.U.; co-author of two studies related to the TM program on PTSD and refugees published in Journal of Traumatic Stress (April, 2013; February, 2014), and a third study on PTSD in students published in Psychological Reports (February, 2019). He has designed and managed social change and wellness projects ranging from local clinics to national ballot access programs. He is a 40 year participant in specialized study and practice of the TM program. Founder of PTSD Relief Now Corporation and its African PTSD Relief projects

Ted was President and CEO of Maharishi Ayurveda Products Incorporated. Author of three books: “Total Brain Coaching”, “The Coherence Code” and “Self Empower.”

Dr. Jose Luis Alvarez: International Administrator for the TM program for 22 Latin American countries, with over 10 years of experience implementing specialized applications of the TM program for PTSD relief and prevention across Latin America.  Africa. Dr. Alvarez currently has agreements/contracts to provide PTSD relief to 1 million children with PTSD in Latin America.

Dr. Richard Broom, Ph. D., MBA (UCT) B.Sc. (Eng)(Elec) (Natal). He was Co-president Transcendental Meditation S African governing NGO, 1986-1993, and currently is Chairman of TM NGOs in 4 countries: South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho and Finland.

Dr. Vicki Broome. D.S.C.I. (Switzerland), M.Ed. Psychology (Wits.) Dipl. MAV (New Zealand) L.T.C.L. Teacher Diploma (London), Dipl. Speech and Drama (UCT). Vicki is registered with the HPCSA as a psychologist, and the AHPCSA as a Maharishi Ayurveda practitioner. She is one of the world’s most experienced authorised Transcendental Meditation Teachers, with an interest in Vedic Psychology. She has to date taught over 12 000 people TM.

Arlene Hovanessian Denison

B.A., dual major in Linguistics and Sociology from New York University. She has enjoyed a long career in marketing communications, most recently with Kaiser Permanente, and has experience in content development, graphic design, and project management. She is a second generation Armenian-American whose grandparents survived the Genocide. Arlene is now retired and enjoys writing in support of charitable causes.

Received the Environmental Journalism Award from the Sierra Club in Iowa.  50 years Accomplished professional photographer. Skilled in Photoshop, Graphics and 3-D computer modeling, Websites, copywriting, and development. Currently, Director of the Monterey Transcendental Meditation Center in Monterey, California including the past 18 years. 46-years teaching Transcendental Meditation for non-profit educational and stress management organizations.

Jess is passionate about mental health awareness, organizational and environmental sustainability, allyship, and human rights.

Willy Koppel

Accounting Advisor

B.A. from Amherst College in Psychology, MBA from Northwestern University.  Willy earned his CPA credential in1980 while working for Ernst & Young in Chicago.  He managed his own accounting firm for 13 years followed by another 32 years of work in taxation, financial reporting and accounting oversight for several companies with international scope.  Since 2011 Willy has been the Chief Financial Officer of Global Country of World Peace..  He has also been an accounting advisor for numerous non-profit organizations including Maharishi Foundation International, Global Projects for Peace, Institute for Excellence in Africa and others. Willy has been practicing the Transcendental Meditation Program for over 50 years and has been a teacher of the TM Program since 1974.

Tigran Nersisian

Film Director

B.A. film directing, UCLA, is an award-winning film director based in Los Angeles. Born in Yerevan in 1995, he moved to Russia at the age of five. He grew up aspiring to make films but could not realize his dream in Russia. Once he came to the United States, 17-year-old Tigran learned English and began working on projects to fulfill his goals. He was accepted in the undergraduate film program at the University of California, Los Angeles. Tigran’s breakthrough came with his thesis film “Out of Mind” (2019), which was featured at the Pomegranate Film Festival and earned awards in numerous international festivals. Tigran produced and directed “Ending the War Within,” the first documentary on ArmeniaRecoveryNow project to use Transcendental Meditation to reduce war trauma across Armenia. Tigrans owns and runs Byulor Films.
